Did you notice that it wasn’t freezing cold today (for the first time in ages)! Going on optimism, I would say the sunny summer is just round the corner. With that, we need to make sure Cavendish Lettings bloggers continue to look better than ever so here’s a bit of incentive.

Cavendish Lettings’ ears are still ringing from Nottingham’s Hot Property night at Gatecrasher!

Nottingham’s Hot Property saw highflyers from the property and development world take to the stage in full costume to perform songs and dance moves from the sixties right through to today’s current music.”What a fun filled night made even more exciting as our very own Ali Baylav was pianist in the band.” Said Jaclyn Bartlett; Lettings Manager.

‘’Were delighted to have been a key sponsor and help raise so much money for local children’s charities – I believe the total is expected to be over £10,000!” Said Ali Baylav; Managing Director at Cavendish Lettings.

Last December we entered our Tenants into a Christmas prize draw to win a meal for two at Dino’s Restaurant (www.dinobar.co.uk). Tim won and went down with his friend Genna, Tim said, “We had a lovely time, food was excellent.”

A message from our Managing Director Ali Baylav:

Hi all, just a quick message from me to make you aware of a live gig we are doing this Wednesday night at Gatecrasher in Nottingham. I am the pianist in the Nottingham Hot Property Band, a group of musicians made up of property professionals that work in Nottingham.

We are trying to raise as much as we can for local children’s charities, please come by and enjoy the night with us on Wednesday if you can. We have got some classic songs that we know you’ll love singing along to.

As you can see above, I have posted a behind the scenes photo of me practising one of the 25 songs! I’m smiling but I must admit it’s been extremely challenging getting through the reportoire! Below is a sneak preview of our set, the photo was taken during our fourth rehearsal during the cold spell we’ve had lately – we were frozen but we battled through.

Nottingham Hot Property is back!

The legendry Nottingham Hot Property charity event returns on the 22nd of February 2012 for its 8th year. The change of venue to Gatecrasher Nightclub promises to being a whole new element to this well know event.

The highlight of the Nottingham Property social calendar sees highflyers from the property an development world take to the stage in full costume to perform songs and dance moves fro the sixties right through to today’s current music.

The event brings property professionals together in a relaxed and sociable environment with the overall goal of raising funds for local children’s charities. Since the beginning of Hot Property over £180,000.

The organisers are no busy signing up sponsors for this years show and spaces are still available.

Tickets can be bought for £25 each or alternatively, VIP tickets, which includes a champagne reception are available for £40.

When we advertised for our new Lettings Co-ordinator, we did not tell Paul James that his son had applied for this position.

Two interviews later, Paul came into work one Monday morning to see Hayden sat on the front desk raring to go.
